ABOUT THE PROJECT:
For this project, the task was to design a weekend house on a fictive site by the Danube River, facing flood danger. The site featured a pre-existing 6-legged 6x7 meter concrete platform. Keeping in mind a family of 4 as the users, I crafted a comfortable and spacious weekend house, equipped with all essential amenities. The design features a double-high living area, a spacious balcony, and dry storage for the families canoe. To complement the existing platform, I designed a monolite structure of colored concrete, reflecting the relaxed and playful nature of the summerhouse.
